Autumn’s Orange Leaves

The greenery is suddenly not quite so green.

This weekend we were out hiking in the (surprisingly) glorious sunshine at the local Aberdeenshire hill.

Over the last week, many of the leaves have been changing colour, and have begun falling.

Along with this change comes the inevitable decrease in temperature, which is not all bad – it’s now okay for regular use of the wood burning stove!

Perhaps this is why Sophie and I really like Autumn…

There really is nothing like walking amongst orange leaves in the cool Autumn air, before coming indoors, and watching Sunday afternoon TV by the orange flames of the fire.
